The group meets usually once a month on Wednesdays to visit places which are of both historic and cultural interest in Catalonia. Ideally we would have a guided tour in English, but so far we have been unsuccessful in this, and our visits have been self-guided. This year our visits have included castles, abbeys and museums. Suggestions for future visits very gratefully received.

All U3A members are very welcome to attend the meetings, details of which are published on the “Events” calendar. Members’ guests can also attend visits for a payment of €2,00. This amount should be paid to the co-ordinator who will hand it over to a committee member. Please remember that you visit at your own risk and if you are concerned about your personal safety then consult your insurance company for the appropriate cover.
