The art of beautiful writing–is as old as writing itself.
It flourishes on the tables of Greek and Roman scribes and survived the Dark ages in the Illuminated manuscripts of cloistered monks. Beautiful writing endures in the skilled hands of crafts people from books to family trees. It also enjoys renewed popularity as a means of artistic personal expression.
As you can expect it takes a long time to perfect the many types of letters that exist, so for our classes we cover three types of letters – Italic, Unical and Gothic.
It entails work at home and a lot of frustration!
We would envisage the next session to commence after the summer season as many people will now be away for various reasons.
