French Groups

There are a number of French conversation groups established within U3A.  These are intended for members who already have some French which they wish to improve in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Our groups meet regularly, usually weekly, either at the Coordinator’s or Facilitator’s home or rotating round the group members’ homes.  The Facilitators/Coordinators are fluent French speakers who volunteer their time to run the groups.  The emphasis is on conversation rather
than formal teaching.

Please be aware that there can be a wait to join any of these groups due to demand, coordinators decide the size of the groups and how many people can participate.  So even if you are or become a member, there is no guarantee you will be able to immediately join a conversation group.

We would welcome potential new Coordinators/Facilitators to run a few more groups.  One or both should be fluent French speakers.
