33 members attended the October U3A quiz held at Les Abeilles, when the questions were posed by Mike Condon, Carol Kirby and Ian Murray..

8 teams competed; the results (after a tie-breaker which divided Tower and Sydney) were:

1^st: Rialto (72 points):  Gail Morse, John Nettleton, Trudie Stone, Donald Swan

2^nd: Tower (69½ points): Maureen Bangs, Paul Jackson, Jenny McCubbin, Brian McLellan

3^rd: Sydney (68½ points): Yannick Newman, Chris Stone, Sigrid Swan, Joe Wellings

4^th: Forth (66 points)

5^th: Ironbridge (65 points) 

6^th: Avignon (60½ points)

7^th: Golden Gate (59½ points)

8^th: Gateshead (54½ points)

The next quiz will – all being well – be held on 18^th November 2021 at Les Abeilles, when the quizmasters will be Paul Jackson and Jenny McCubbin.
